What should I prepare before the session?
It’s helpful to have the garments you’d like to discuss nearby, along with any questions or goals. Pen and paper and access to a full-length mirror can also be useful.
What should I wear to the session?Â
I recommend wearing comfortable, fitted undergarments that allow you to try on your clothes while maintaining your modesty, such as a singlet or fitted top with leggings or similar.
What can we cover during the session?
We can discuss clothing alterations, fit issues, repair options, and creative upcycling ideas for garments you already own. The session is focused on guidance, ideas, and practical next steps.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancellation and reschedule conditions apply. Please review the full policy here:

What if my projects don’t work out?
Advice provided during the consultation is educational only. All work carried out on garments is done at your own discretion and risk. Second Life Upcycling is not responsible for outcomes or garment damage.
What if we finish early?
Sessions are booked for a set duration. If you don’t have enough garments or topics to fill the full session, we may finish early. Unfortunately, refunds are not provided for unused time.
To ensure you receive value for money, I can use any remaining time to share clothes upcycling ideas, garment alteration tips, and practical sustainability advice to ensure you still receive value from the session.
